TERMS AND CONDITIONS FOR PANINBANK INTERNET BANKING

  1. Definitions
    • PaninBank Internet Banking is a bank service that user customers can use to conduct bank transactions via Internet using a computer's web browser software with the terms and conditions determined by the Bank.
    • Bank or PaninBank refers PT Bank Pan Indonesia Tbk, which comprises headquarter and branch offices, as a business entity incorporated under the laws of Indonesia and has a license to conduct general banking activities.
    • Customer is an individual who owns current accounts and/or savings accounts along with the necessary Panin ATM card.
    • User Customer is a bank customer who has made the initial registration or re-registered on PaninBank's automated teller machines to be able to use PaninBank Internet Banking services.
    • Panin ATM Card is a debit card issued by PaninBank, with 16-digit car identification number on the face and which functions as the customer's identification number.
    • User-ID is a combination of 8 characters from first name and last name and 4 digits from birth date and month owned by the customer which must be inputted at the beginning of the use of PaninBank Internet Banking service.
    • Password is a six-digit personal authentication number. It is confidential and can only be set up by and is known only by the user customer. User customer must input the password when using PaninBank Internet Banking service. Along with User-ID, the password is used to confirm that User Customer is the authorized customer and is entitled to PaninBank Internet Banking services.
    • Token PaninBank is an additional security instrument used by User Customer conducting financial transactions as regulated by the Bank within PaninBank Internet Banking. The terms and regulations for obtaining Token PaninBank are different from the terms and regulations for PaninBank Internet Banking, but it is part of the terms and regulations for PaninBank Internet Banking.
  2. Terms of Use
    • User Customer can use PaninBank Internet Banking services to get information and/or conduct banking transactions as regulated by the Bank.
    • User Customer can access PaninBank Internet Banking services via www.panin.co.id by clicking PaninBank Internet Banking icon, which will automatically refer the user to secured address at https://www.internetpanin.com
    • PaninBank retains the rights to stop PaninBank Internet Banking services temporarily or for a certain period of time as the Bank deems necessary for service renewal, maintenance or other purposes for any reasons deemed proper by the Bank, and for that the Bank carries no obligation to account for the steps to any parties.
  3. General Terms of Transactions
    • In PaninBank Internet Banking, Customer can conduct non-financial transactions, which do not require the use of Token PaninBank, and financial transactions which require the use of Token PaninBank as the additional security instrument in the transactions.
    • User Customers are obliged to follow each instruction in PaninBank Internet Banking and to make sure that they meet the necessary requirements for the transactions (including making sure that all required data for the transactions are filled in correctly and completely). The Bank is not responsible for any occurrence that may arise due to negligence, incomplete, inaccurate data input from User Customers.
    • Bank accepts and executes any instruction from User Customer as a valid instruction based on the use of User-ID, password and Token PaninBank, and due to this Bank does not hold an obligation to check or validate the authenticity, validity or authority of the person who uses User ID, Password and Token PaninBank. The Bank also does not carry an obligation to assess or validate the accuracy or completeness or the instructions, and therefore, the instructions legally bind the User Customers, unless the User Customer can prove otherwise.
    • In conducting financial transactions, User Customer uses Token PaninBank and follows each instruction displayed on Token PaninBank, and inputs to the proper columns on PaninBank Internet Banking site which User Customers is accessing as part of the transaction.
    • User Customer has the opportunity to recheck and/or cancel data User Customer has inputted during confirmation step. This is done automatically by the system before the approval of the transaction.
    • User Customer cannot cancel the transaction which User Customer has confirmed and approved.
    • Each transaction which has been approved by User Customer which is saved in Banks' database is correct and legal piece of data and it acts as the proof of instruction from User Customer to Bank for the appointed transaction, unless User Customer can prove otherwise.
    • For each transaction which Bank confirms as successful, User Customer will get the reference number as the proof of transaction.
    • Bank holds the right to reject the request of a transaction from User Customer if Bank has information on or has reason to presume that a fraud or other criminal deed has being committed or will be committed and/or there is no sufficient funds in User Customer's account.
    • In the case of transaction which involves the third party, Bank is not accountable for any effects arising from the failure of the system of the third party.
  4. Initial Registration
    • Customer registers to PaninBank Internet Banking on Register for Internet Banking PaninBank menu on PaninBank ATM.
    • Customer is asked to input Password consisting of six (6) numerical digits which customer can choose freely. Customer re-input the six-digit combination for confirmation.
    • The success of registration process for PaninBank Internet Banking is authenticated by the display of information showing the status of the registration and proof of transaction paper from ATM which contains User ID.
    • User-ID is a combination of 8 characters from first name and last name and 4 digits from birth date and month owned by the customer.
  5. Proof of Transaction
    • User Customer agrees and acknowledges that proofs as ordered by Bank and User Customer sent as electronic mail and kept in the Bank's database or kept in other form of information and data at the Bank, either in written form, note, tape/cartridge, computer printout and/or copy, are authentic proofs of transaction whose legality, validity and authenticity cannot be disputed.
    • Proof of order from User Customer given through PaninBank Internet Banking is a transfer printed in current account or PaninBank account book if printed.
  6. Limit of Transaction
    • User Customer agrees and acknowledges the need for nominal limit of transactions User Customer can make with PaninBank Internet Banking service.
    • The limit of transaction referred to is the minimum and/or maximum financial transactions allowed in PaninBank Internet Banking.
    • Bank upon consideration has the authority to decide on and change the limit of transaction in PaninBank Internet Banking.
  7. Security Management
    • Customers are advised to always verify the validity of PaninBank's website address, namely http://www.panin.co.id or https://www.internetpanin.com
    • PaninBank uses Secure Socket Layer (SSL) 2048 bit encryption technology to protect the communication between User Customer's computer and PaninBank server during PaninBank Internet Banking activities. PaninBank is certified for the use of encryption technology under the name ibank.panin.com.
    • User Customer can validate that each page accessed has an image of a lock on the lower part of the page of the web browser. This indicates the page in encrypted using SSL.
    • User Customer has the obligation of keeping confidential the User ID and Password by:
      • Not informing or showing them whether on purpose or unintentionally to other people, including family members,
      • Periodically change the password,
      • Not making password which is easy to guess, such as the same number and date of birth,
      • The customers shall not use similar user ID and password,
      • The customers shall not use similar user ID and true stamp,
      • Not keeping or writing down the User ID and/or password on a place other people, including family members, have easy access to.
    • In taking the benefit of PaninBank Internet Banking, User Customer is advised to use a personal computer or a computer which User is sure is not used by many people.
    • User Customer is advised to log out of PaninBank Internet Banking every time User Customer leaves the computer.
    • Any misuse of User ID, Password and Token PaninBank is the responsibility of user Customer. User Customer herewith relieves PaninBank from any accountability or lawsuit that may arise, either from other parties or from User Customer, as the result of the misuse of User ID, Password and Token PaninBank.
    • When User Customer is making the use of PaninBank Internet Banking services (login), PaninBank will generate cookies, which will stop when User Customer logout of PaninBank Internet Banking.
  8. Communication via Electronic Mail
    • User Customer has the obligation to provide a valid personal email address to PaninBank, which the Bank will use to send information of financial transactions User Customer has made on PaninBank Internet Banking.
    • Bank sends only information to an email address registered by User Customer and Bank is not responsible for the validity of the email address.
    • PaninBank does not guarantee the security of information or data sent to the Bank via email not registered to PaninBank Internet Banking, which does not meet the secure format approved and set by the Bank.
    • All communication via email which is secure and meet the standard is deemed valid, authentic, original and proper, and results in the similar effects to written communication or done on written documents.
    • PaninBank is exempted from the obligation to execute all commands which are signed or note or respond to any questions received via unsecured email address. Customer is advised not to send confidential information using unsecured email address.
  9. Cost and Authority of Debit Account
    • PaninBank herewith is authorized by User Customer to debit from the user's account for all transactions instructed by User Customer to the Bank via PaninBank Internet Banking service and for all payments of monthly administration charges and the charge for transaction using PaninBank Internet Banking, including administration cost of Token PaninBank.
    • The Bank upon consideration has the authority to decide on, make changes to, add or charge the costs or fee customer needs to pay for using PaninBank Internet Banking services.
    • The authority is terminated when all User Customer's obligations to Bank are met.
  10. Blocking User-ID and Re-registration
    • PaninBank will block a User-ID if User Customer does any of the following:
      • Wrongly input Password for three (3) times in succession during login.
      • Report that User Customer's User ID and/or password has been compromised, or User Customer forgets his/her password.
    • PaninBank can block a User-ID based on the investigation by the Bank which indicates that there is a probability that User ID and Password of a User Customer have been compromised. Bank is exempted from any lawsuit against this blocking.
    • If Bank has blocked access to PaninBank Internet Banking, Customer has to follow registration procedures at Panin ATM, whose steps are similar to initial registration to use PaninBank Internet Banking services.
    • User Customer who applies for the replacement for Panin ATM Card has to conduct initial registration at Panin ATM upon receiving Panin ATM Card.
  11. Termination of PaninBank Internet Banking services
    • PaninBank Internet Banking services will be discontinued by Bank if User Customer applies for the permanent discontinuation of PaninBank Internet Banking access, due to any of these reasons:
      • Termination of the use of Panin ATM Card or closing of accounts accessible via PaninBank Internet Banking by User Customer.
      • PaninBank is obliged to take actions as stipulated by Laws.
    • To again be able to use PaninBank Internet Banking, User Customer should contact the nearest PaninBank office.
  12. Force Majeure
      User Customer will free PaninBank from any lawsuit in the case of the Bank unable to execute, in part or wholly, instructions from User Customer as the result of events which are outside of the Bank's authority or power, including but not limited to, computer virus or Trojan attacks, or other threatening components which can disrupt PaninBank Internet Banking services, web browser or the Bank's computer system, Customer or Internet Service Provider; natural disaster; riot; sabotage; failure of the system or transmission; electric disruption; telecommunication disruption; government's policy; and events or causes outside of the Bank's authority or power.
  13. Miscellaneous
    • User Customers are subject to terms and conditions for the Bank's products applicable and related to transactions as regulated for this product.
    • Authorities stated within Terms and Conditions are valid and effective as long as User Customer still use PaninBank Internet Banking or still has obligation to the Bank.
    • User Customer can contact PaninBank Call Center for any question or problem related to transactions and changes in accessing PaninBank Internet Banking.
    • PaninBank can make revision to Terms and Conditions anytime without prior notice in any form or through any media.
    • Customer has the right to protection of his/her data confidentiality.
    • Customer hereby agrees and binds himself or herself to Terms and Conditions of PaninBank Internet Banking services, including other terms and conditions to be set later by the Bank, which is inseparable from this agreement. This agreement is subject to Laws of Republic of Indonesia.
